April 5 - 6, 2008

“We'll Sleep Outside So Others Won't Have To” – Educating Area Youth About Homelessness at Box City, April 5-6, 2008, co-hosted with Rivier College

Area youth (7 th-12grade + chaperones) will learn about the inequalities and obstacles persons experiencing homelessness face while living outside in “Box City.” Each participant will collect pledges to support one's citizenship in Box City for the evening. All proceeds will be used to support Anne-Marie House, an emergency transitional housing program for families experiencing homelessness.
